You know, when you stop posting, people stop coming. Not that they dont stop coming anyway. Well i mean, SOME people stop coming altogether without any warning or reason or foresight or ANYTHING, and if they have a blog, then they stop posting and you know, once they stop leaving comments, then its almost not worth anything to blog anymore. cuz you don’t know if anyone is reading. and then you get this crap junk comments that you have to delete, like “car insurance” and “Free poker” and “online casino.”

what kind of life is that?

but it’s okay, because some people still come, even though they havent left comments…*cough*pi*cough*

well then. uh. i mean, um, you know…

jahh!!!!!!! blogging is a frusturating profession, you know that? you’ve got to think of something to say while keeping the reader’s attention and putting it into words and keeping it worthwhile and convincing and texting and making dragons and eating kiwis and maybe sometimes even eating pie!!! can you imagine?! AND, if you are a writer like me and you have to write in dialect, pretty soon you start blogging or talking in that dialect! remember how i said ‘you know that?’ well the other day i left a comment on pi’s blog that said “you’d best do this!!!” pretty soon I’m going to start saying, “you’re a right fool!” and people are going to look at me funny! :(

anyway.

people with blogs, POST AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE!!! you will lose people’s interest! I KNOW! I have experienced it both ways! this means you out there! Yeah, you with the ice cream! *cough*pi*cough* no i’m not implying anything… :P

listen up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not that i dont think Janna kicks butt, but my great american novel has come to a screeching halt.

yeah, i think you will probably have to supply the rest of the story with your imaginations.

SO. my friend wrote a story, and it is really good!  it is pretty long, so i will give it to you in at least four sections.

“Ouch!” Justin grunted as he skidded around the corner and ran into a broken fence.

He ignore the hot blood pouring from his knee as he ran on, down the empty, silent, dark streets. It was chilly, and the air smelled faintly of damp leaves and smoke. Justin slipped again on a pile of discarded, lifeless leaves.

He landed face down in the gutter and his nose started to spurt blood.

With one hand cupped over his small nose he sprinted to the end of the street and met an oak tree. It had a thick trunk with chestnut colored bark. Three giant limbs spread out from the tree. Justin lifted himself up into the tree. The bark was rough and peeling. Now that he in the tree he hoisted himself up onto one of the limps, where the tree created a semi- flat surface. The spot was obscured by branches, but Justin knew the dark would hide him too.

The sound of heavy foot falls awoke Justin from his thoughts. He held his breath. His heart started to race and his stomach tightened. There, silhouetted in the dim moon light stood a man. His face was lined and his blonde hair was streaked with gray. A black cloak was slung over his back. The material looked rough and scratchy.

Justin was too scared to breathe. He closed his eyes. The man raised a lantern and surveyed the road. The lantern light flew over Justin’s tree and didn’t catch him. It passed over the gutter that was lined with blood. The man dashed over to examine it.

As quietly as he could Justin eased himself over so that he could reach out and touch the tree that stood next too him. He slid over to the tree, making not a sound.

The man followed the blood, right to the base of the tree where Justin had been sitting a few minutes ago. He examined the tree very thoroughly, and when he found that no one was in it, he moved down the road.

Justin decided it would be too risky to move yet, so he found a comfortable spot on the tree, leaned his head back against the trunk and closed his eyes.

The first rays of sunlight flickered in through the trees, startling Justin. He sat up and bashed his head against the tree. He ran a hand over his nose and mouth. They were both caked in dried blood.

On further inspection so was his knee and most of his left pant leg.

He tried to sit up, but got too dizzy.

Justin’s head lolled back against the tree and smack against the trunk again. Before Justin knew it, everything went black.

This time, it was no the sunlight that awoke Justin, but it was the silvery moon beams that drifted down from the heavens like snow.

All Justin could think of was how hungry he was.

            His stomach moaned and groaned.

            He was getting dizzy.

I gotta find help! Justin decided.

There was only one place he could get help from. Jasper. Justin studied the road that he was on. If he wasnt seeing things, Jasper’s house wasn’t too far from here.

He pulled the silver knife with the golden jewel from his belt and slashed a sturdy limb off of the tree.

He propped himself up with it and ran up the street as fast as he could.

When the dirt road forked, Justin took the left path and hobbled down it. At the end of that street, he could see a gigantic red brick house. It was about three floors high with a circular drive.

Along the left wall a terrace stood. It looked like it would be Justin’s only way in.

He limped over to the terrace and carefully started to climb. Once he reached a window he tentatively tapped on the glass. It was so fogged up he could see much of what was inside.

He banged on it harder and it opened up.

Standing in front of him was a boy with shaggy brown hair. He was about six feet tall and wore a white smock, smeared with dirt. His face was plain, with thick brown eye brows. His brown eyes were puffy. He looked exhausted, but no where near as bad as Justin.

“Oh my bleeding, eck! he exclaimed, What are you doing ‘ere?”

“Long story, groaned Justin, Just, well, I haven’t eaten in a while, and I’m exhausted.”

“Oh, right, come in, the boy said as he slid the window open all the way.

Justin dropped to the floor and his knees buckled.

His vision went fuzzy. The boy passed him a cup of water. Justin swallowed it in one gulp.

            His head started to clear.

“Why are you covered in blood?” the boy asked.

            “Am I? asked Justin.

“’’Ere, I’ll get it, the boy volunteered.

He grabbed a white towel and a basin of water that sat on table next to the desk. He immersed the towel in water and scrubbed at the blood on Justin’s face and knee.

Justin’s vision was clearing. He could see a walnut colored bed with a chest of drawers next to it. Across from there was a shelf of books. The floor and walls were wooden and bare, and very, very hard.  The room smelled like cooked carrots and baking bread.

“You got any food? Justin asked.

“Yeah, when was the last time you ate? the boy asked.

“I don’t remember, come on Jasper, I’m starving! begged Justin.

“Okay, okay I’m going, just stay here, it’ll make both of our lives easier, Jasper pleaded.

Justin nodded and took the towel from Jasper. He scrubbed at his face rigorously. Jasper got up and walked over to the door. He eased it open carefully, so that it wouldn’t squeak.

Most of the blood had come off, and Justin was so exhausted that he could hardly move. His head throbbed from when he had hit it against the tree. His nose felt like it was broken. He tested it gingerly with his fingers. Not broken, but almost.

Justin keeled over and shut his eyes.

Someone was shaking him on the shoulder. It was Jasper. He had returned with a bowl of hot porridge and some crispy bacon.

He passed Justin the plain bowl and a silver spoon. Without being invited Justin gobbled the food. The steaming porridge heated him up like fire heats water. The bacon was perfect. Nice and crunchy, but not burned and no fat. It tasted delectable.

“What time is it? Justin asked Jasper after his third mouthful of porridge.

“Just after breakfast, when I came back up you were asleep, so I decided to wait until morning when I could get you something hot. Jasper explained.

Justin’s mouth was full of porridge, so he responded with a grunt.

Once he finished Jasper demanded an explanation.

Okay, first of all, why are you here, where have you been, and why were you covered in blood? demanded Jasper.

Well it all started like any normal day, Justin began, I got in another fight with my dad. I don’t totally remember what it was about, but I told him I was going to run away. I meant it too. So, when I had everything I thought I needed put together, I thought I would play a little joke on him as a good-bye present. I took his most prized procession along with me. His hunting knife, with the little gold jewel in it. I got the knife, but then he came back in. Well, he got really mad and pulled out his machete type thing and started advancing. Well, I knew if I didn’t get out of there I’d be toast, so I ran for it. I ran into a  broken fence and split my knee. Then I slipped on some leaves and almost broke my nose. I hid in a tree, and fell asleep, but when I woke up I think I passed out.  When I woke up again, I knew I needed to find help, so I came here.

            Jasper sat in stunned silence.

Justin just waited for him to say something.

“Well that explains a lot muttered Jasper.

            “Why? asked Justin.

“I went over to go and see if you were home. No one was there. You dad left a note on the door that said he was gone on business away from the city. I figured you went with him, but on my way back home I found this. Jasper explained, as he extracted a piece of folded parchment from his pocket.

He passed it Justin who looked it over. He was staring at a portrait of himself. It was a pretty bad copy of the one that hung in Justin’s old room, but he could tell that it was himself.

Under the picture were a few lines of messy writing. They looked a bit like his father’s handwriting. Justin leaned closer to the paper to decipher the writing.

            It read:

Have you seen this boy? Dangerous killer. Goes under the alias of Justin Eelie. May attack at any moment. If you see him, contact Kagen Eelie, who is out of this city. So, it is probably a better idea to contact the local law enforcers. Beware! This boy may look harmless, but he is dangerous.

Chapter Two

Malveillant whispered to Hilare in a dark corner. Hilare’s eyes grew wide with amazement as she listened to Malveillant’s words. She whispered something back, and Malveillant nodded. His claw drew a pattern in the dirt, and Hilare studied it. She added her own small shape and Malveillant’s eyebrows raised. It was clear that he was impressed with her idea. He then said something firmly to her, then flew back to his place on the shelf. Hilare glided to hers, and Terreo walked over. “What was that all about?” He asked. Hilare could feel Malveillant’s eyes on her back, and she answered a bit nervously, “Nothing.” Terreo narrowed his eyes, but said no more. Hilare was glad. Malveillant had made her promise to tell no one as of now of the plans. She couldn’t believe that Liza had planned on keeping the dragons confined in small glass containers. Display cases, Malveillant had called them. She knew that they had to keep their connection with the other dragons, and she was willing to do anything to keep it. Malveillant’s plan sounded best and simplest.

Malveillant fought to keep a smile off his face as he watched Hilare deny that anything important had been said between the two of them. Of course, what had been said was critical to the dragons. Not that it was true. Oh no, it was most definitely not true. He had known he would have to lie, but that was the easy part. He was an expert liar. And Hilare’s idea made everything so much easier, he couldn’t believe that he hadn’t thought of it before. He only needed to have Hilare tell Ferinse The Liza Scenario, and all the dragons would know within an hour. And, of course, He needed one other dragon in on his plan. Maybe Reussi, The Successful. Or Martiale, The Strong. No, he’d best go with Xeres. He had often seen Xeres in the shadows, with that glint in his eye that Malveillant knew too well.

He stared at Xeres until he had his attention. They held their gaze until Xeres stood up. Malveillant gave a half-smile. Xeres knew what he wanted. He tossed his head, indicating Xeres to follow, and walked back over to his drawing.

Xeres knew Malveillant too well. Days of watching and observing brought great knowledge to oneself. he also knew why Malveillant had been talking to Hilare, The Innocent. She would be a perfect subject of the lies in a plan. He swooped over the other sixteen dragons and landed neatly in front of the drawing, folding his royal blue wings back. “So,” he said flatly, disguising his excitement well. “What do you want me to do?”

Malveillant was yet again impressed. Xeres knew exactly why he was called, to be part of the plan. He once again outlined the same lies he had fed Hilare. He was very surprised when Xeres responded with the word “Bullcrap.”

“Excuse me?” Malveillant said.

“Bullcrap. You know that it is. So who is Hilare going to tell Ferinse told her all of that?”

Malveillant was shocked. Not only had Xeres known he was lying, he had guessed a major part of the plan. He had no choice but to tell the whole plan to Xeres.

When he had finished, Xeres nodded and said, “Good. I say you tell her to tell Fice that I told her that crap. Fice is more likely to believe that than if she says you told her.”

“Very true.” With a short nod, Malveillant sent Xeres for Hilare. And after a few minutes, he sent Hilare off. Again, he watched with satisfaction as the white dragon spoke Xeres’s name instead of his. His perfect plan was almost complete. Soon all the dragons would be helping him return to power, all because they were frantic about getting out before they were put into display cases. Display cases! Ha! If any of them had an ounce of sense they would realize that they were all capable of breaking the thin glass easily.
But this was better, because soon, he would be Malveillant the Malicious again! He would make Liza realize that she was taking life out of real dragons and putting it into small clay figurines. She was taking whatever powers they had and giving it to something small and without any authority over anything. Gone were their acquaintances, gone their reputations. He would change that, once and for all. He would go back to his happy life of friendly terrorizing and little stealing. It would all be good.

And across the room, Xeres stood, watching, thinking of his old life and what he would give to have it back.

Okay, so yesterday I told you that I’d probably have pictures of my dragons. Well, I lied. Kind of. I started to get the pictures but they got messed up, so I had to quit until tomorrow.  Anyway, I still have some good things to say.

So, I did go shopping, and now you shall find out what I bought! I bought thirty new colors of clay (!) and fourteen clayworking tools. :D Ha, Pi! Take that! (She thought I had a pitiful collection of colors when I visited.)

I bought ten kiwis today! Figures. After all, my name is Ki. Hey! I just decided that I will stick toothpicks in them and they’ll be kiwi people!

Anyway it’s getting late and I have to sleep. :( so there will be pix tomorrow!

Guess what? No, I said GUESS!

Hey, I did say guess. But anyway, I did okay on my SRIs today. SRIs are computer reading tests, by the way. It wasn’t exactly fun, but afterwards I did get to draw a really awesome picture.

Okay, so a few weeks ago my friend whom I shall call Noodle, my best friend who wants me to call her Barbie for some strange, unknown reason, and I were talking about what would happen if you named a dog Sit.

Learning tricks: “Roll over, Sit! No! Don’t sit! I said roll over! Very good. Now, stand up, Sit! No! Stand up, Sit! No!” and so on.

Outside: “Come, Sit! Sit! SIT! Aaaahhhh! COME, SIT! LOOK OUT FOR THE CAR, SIT!”

Inside: “Sit, Sit! Good. Now, come, Sit! No! NO! COME, Sit! AAAAAAHHHHH! NO!!! Carpet no toilet paper!!!!!”

Then Noodle said, “You would probably have to teach the dog how to sit by renaming the command ‘contact’ or ‘bottom.’”

My cousin Pi makes dragons. Hey, guess what? Guess! No really. So do I! Mine are a lot bigger than hers, and quote Pi: “their tails are super thin and constantly have to be repaired with super glue.” Well, that was before. now the tails are a bit thicker and don’t break nearly as often, which IS a good thing. Now I don’t use even close to the amount of glue that I used to. We both sell them, too. She sells them for $3.50, and I sell them for $2.00. Pi’s are a bit pricey, if you ask me. No offense, Pi. You will probably make more money than me anyway, depending on how many you sell and how many I do.

Anyway, there will hopefully be pictures of my dragons tomorrow, and of Pi’s the next. You shall see!!!           (So shall I, apparently.)

I want to go shopping tomorrow. But not just any shopping, my friends! I know exactly what I want and I probably know where to get it! What a surprise. I’ll tell you tomorrow, but untill then you have to wait in suspenseful waiting! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Urg. That ‘Hello, world!’ “post” is still there. PLEASE, somebody tell me how to delete it! I must know! I will die young if I do not delete it!!!

Not really.

Still, it does bug me. I’ll figure it out. Someday.

‘Howdy, dragonstars.’ is still there too. Why in the world does it say ‘howdy?’ Why can’t it say ‘hi’ or ‘welcome’ or even ‘yo?’

Arg. Urgh. Bleh. AAHH! Oh, you’re still here? I guess I’d better say something about something instead of boring you to death by making strange noises by myself for fun. Oh, no! I’M ALL OUT OF THINGS TO SAY!!!

I guess that means I should end this post. This one was pretty long, wasn’t it? Longest I’ve ever written. Of course. So. Oh, gosh! Why is it always hard to end posts?! Here, I’ll make it quick: seeya tomorrow!

Wasn’t that wonderfully short?

Hi!!!

Hey anybody who is actually reading this! Welcome to my brand- new awesome blog! I can’t believe I am actually writing this to go on a blog that is mine personally. I have waited two months for this moment! News flash: I am tired. Well, I should be! After all, it is the first day after Winter Break which makes it all the harder because two days ago I got to sleep at two- thirty. I think every one I saw today at school was tired. including the teachers.

Oh blah. I don’t have time to write any more, so the next post really will be pretty long. :)
